I am an enrolled tribal member of the Navajo (Diné) Nation originally from Todi Neesh Zhee (Kayenta, Arizona) adjacent to world-renowned Monument Valley on the Arizona-Utah border.
My website contains hand made jewelry using materials found in our natural environment, mainly turquoise and other stones and metallic materials.
My vision is to merge traditional designs and concepts with contemporary styles to produce Native American style jewelry that is considered avant-garde and modern.
Through my work I am able to share with the world the pride and joy of my rich heritage, which has been handed down to me through oral tradition. My goal is to create beautiful art, so that my customers will be part of Native American history. I am working on introducing new pieces throughout the year, according to season...
Also, I am very excited that I will introduce Diné Handwoven Textiles and men's style necklaces & bracelets to my site....look out for those.
Finally, to stay in compliance with federal laws regarding Native American artifacts, I have provided links in the "IACB" and "IACA" tabs above to ensure I am adhering to the preservation and rights of indigenous peoples.
